In this critical position, you'll drive Amazon Europe7s workflow planning, risk mitigation, and cost and capacity management. Collaborating directly with FC partners, you'll provide guidance, identify and rectify workflow variances, and actively manage the journey of millions of customer orders from checkout to shipment. Our onboarding process equips you with the necessary knowledge, while our matrix structure empowers you to deliver, innovate, create, and grow. Key job responsibilities

• Master Amazon's proprietary flow management tools and processes, becoming the go-to for seamless FC operations interface
• Innovate and implement metrics, conduct thorough analyses to uncover optimization opportunities, then design and champion scalable, standardized solutions
• Cultivate cross-functional partnerships, translating complex concepts into accessible insights for stakeholders across all organizational levels
• Own and influence critical performance indicators, including customer promise attainment, flow planning adherence, and site-specific KPIs
• Teach peers and customers with knowledge-sharing initiatives, developing and delivering impactful training programs to elevate team capabilities and operational excellence

A day in the life

In our European Central Flow Team offices in Barcelona, as a Process Control Specialist, you’ll optimize operations in our Fulfilment Centres across Europe. Here’s what you can expect:

Start of Shift

• Begin your day with a shift handover, understanding the current network status, forecasted volumes and capacities, and any events that might impact forecasts
• Catch up with on-site teams to align on priorities and review key metrics and operational highlights

Throughout Your Shift

• Connect with operations teams across Europe in a collaborative environment
• Create smart, data-driven plans using in-house developed tools
• Fine-tune staffing strategies to optimize workflow
• Lead real-time decisions to keep the network flowing
• Make strategic adjustments as new information comes in
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders

End of Shift

• Share insights and report key performance metrics from your shift, highlighting potential impacts for the upcoming shift
• Share key updates and recommendations
