My client seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on space thermo‑mechanical design to join their engineering team. You will contribute to the development of cutting‑edge space systems in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate thermo‑mechanical designs for space applications.
• Use tools such as CREO, Femap, NX Nastran, ANSYS Workbench, Thermica, or equivalent to perform analysis and simulations.
• Communicate design concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Support rapid design iterations in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
• Liaise with manufacturers during the production phase, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience with CAD/CAE tools for mechanical and thermal analysis.
• Solid understanding of space systems and thermo‑mechanical design principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and dynamic project requirements.
• Experience interacting with manufacturers and supporting design‑for‑manufacture processes.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
