In this role you lead the Surgical Account Manager and Clinical Consultant teams across Europe, coordinating strategic initiatives to grow ABMD surgical sales. You translate corporate goals into regional plans, develop a KOL network, and drive patient‑focused outcomes. You collaborate with cross‑functional partners to execute campaigns and ensure team development. This position offers impact through shaping surgical strategies and regional execution in a fast‑growing MedTech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the regional O DACH team to exceed revenue and patient support targets
  • Conduct after‑action reviews and action plans with the regional surgical team
  • Identify opportunities, raise market awareness, and drive adoption of ABMD surgical portfolio
  • Support and open new accounts; build KOL network
  • Coach the Sales/Clinical team through 1:1 travel and on‑site sessions
  • Coordinate activities with regional managers, Physician Program, Marketing & Training, and Cardiological Franchise Teams
  • Ensure staff competence and performance management; develop personal and professional skills
  • Grow peer‑to‑peer surgical networks and educational programs
  • Coordinate surgical campaigns with EU/US Marketing Teams; work with PPD, Medical Office, Marketing, and local teams
  • Represent the company at surgical conferences across the EMEA region; travel up to 80%
  • Provide case support when needed

Qualifications

  • College degree required, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years in medical device sales, ideally Cardiac Surgery/Cardiology or related areas
  • Prior leadership experience with responsibility for leading sales teams
  • Strong commercial and medical understanding
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages valued
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations in the medical device industry
