Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.

The Role You Will Play:

  1. Strategic Vision: Lead Retex’s growth by securing new business opportunities and positioning us as a key partner in marketing and communication, fostering opportunities across our offerings.
  2. Industry Expertise: Analyze industries, attract prospects, and conduct research, monitoring, and audits in collaboration with relevant directors to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver tailored solutions.
  3. Client-Centric Approach: Promote our products and services by addressing client objectives, developing value propositions, and building rapport through a consultative approach.
  4. Sales Excellence: Develop sales strategies, identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and utilize negotiation skills to drive sales from planning to closure.
  5. Project Management: Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring successful execution and high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

While you may not have all, we believe these characteristics will help you excel:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
  • Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to manage the sales process from plan to close.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2 level).
  • Proactive, organized, and able to build rapport and collaborate effectively internally and externally.
