About the role :

You will ensure services are evidence-based and culturally aligned with the headspace Model Integrity Framework. Your responsibilities and outcomes will include :

  • Case load of approximately 10 clients per week;
  • Expanding centre capacity by helping other clinicians improve their capability at their respective stages;
  • Providing clinical supervision to 5 to 6 clinical staff;
  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic services, including comprehensive assessments, care coordination and intakes;
  • Providing supervision and support to students and graduates on placement;
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement culturally relevant group and individual activities;
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records; and
  • Participating in community events and advocacy that builds the profile and accessibility of the centre and program.

About you :

To be successful in the role, you will hold a graduate or post-graduate qualification in Psychology, Mental Mealth Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or a similar field, with registration and / or membership with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA or AASW). Most importantly, you will have approval to provide supervision to clinical placement students. You will additionally :

  • Demonstrate experience in case management, care coordination and providing evidence-based interventions;
  • Have the ability to work autonomously, manage your time effectively and exercise professional judgement; and
  • Obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a driver's licence.
