Descrizione del lavoro

As an Executive Assistant, you will complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision while maintaining awareness of deadline sensitivity. The candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, and organizing logistics. A successful candidate will take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills. You will need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.

A day in the life

As an Executive Assistant, you will work in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (at and outside Amazon) is important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly and handle multiple tasks at once. You will manage complex calendars, scheduling with diplomacy, organize team activities (staff meetings, off‑sites, engagement events), manage travel scheduling, and coordinate purchase orders.

An important key to our success is building and maintaining healthy relationships across the organization. A big part of your job will be to understand the organizational structure and strengthen our relationships and collaboration with adjacent teams. As you begin to meet people and establish your network, foster strong relationships of trust and cooperation, and build up a good "map" of how the various teams and leaders fit together.
