ANFIBIA is an immersive and multi-disciplinary training project designed to equip and enhance both performers' and creators' tools. The platform targets artists interested in a research-driven, cross-disciplinary formation. The goal is to develop adaptable performers capable of transitioning between different artistic languages and pursuing independent creative paths. The full-time program in Performing Arts runs from October 2025 to May 2026.

Participants will engage daily in practical classes focusing on body and voice techniques, alongside theoretical classes on the history and theory of performative acts, organization, and management skills, led by experts across various disciplines. Monthly focuses will feature special guests from renowned companies. Additionally, students will develop individual and group scenic projects, culminating in public premieres and events throughout the year.

The Program

  • The program includes weekly sessions with daily classes in contemporary dance, floorwork, acrobatic movement, contact improvisation, acting, drama, singing, and vocality for dancers and performers.
  • Seminars such as Dance & Disability with L’Atelier Corpopoetico, BMC, HipHop and Urban Dance, Osteopathy for dancers/performers, and body conditioning.
  • Additional classes and seminars focused on training and career development, including Light Design, scenography, costume design, management, and artistic entrepreneurship.
  • Extra seminar: Italian language classes.

The project hosts monthly workshops with internationally renowned choreographers and artists such as MARIGIA MAGGIPINTO (Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch), JOS BAKER (ex-dancer of PEEPING TOM COMPANY), EDUARDO TORROJA (ULTIMA VEZ), LAURA FRIGATO (Parc Company), and TOMER NAVOT (Sharon Fridman Practice INA).
