Secheron Hasler Italia is seeking a Technical Repair Technician to join our dynamic Customer Service Center team in Villafranca di Verona.

Responsibilities

• Set up electronic systems and devices
• Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish industrial electronic equipment
• Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and identify failure trends
• Test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment
• Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level, including but not limited to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and other printed circuit components
• Update software and run tests on existing equipment
• Familiarity with and ability to utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies; isolate problems between the test environment and the units under test
• Record and interpret test data to determine pass/fail conditions and determine when further analysis is needed; communicate with Repair Services management to keep them informed of job status
• Perform field service visits in a timely manner as required to resolve technical issues experienced by customers
• Solder and desolder using through-hole and surface-mount technology
• Recognize various electronic components and their functions
• Work in a progressive repair process with direct interaction with teammates
• Collaborate with other professionals on technical tasks
• Maintain inventory
• Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties
• Attend regular training workshops and report to the Supervisor
• Ensure that all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/Degree or completed coursework in Electronics
• 1 year of proven work experience in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Experience as electronic technician or in a similar role
• MS Office
• Ability to interpret electronic schematics and product drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Autonomy and proactivity
