Position Overview

The Marketing & Communication Executive acts as the key link between hotel operations and the Cluster Marcomms team, ensuring that all local marketing, PR, content, programming, internal communications, and social/digital initiatives are executed seamlessly and in line with brand standards. This hands‑on role is ideal for a creative storyteller who thrives in a fast‑paced luxury environment and knows how to bring the hotel’s narrative to life.

Key Responsibilities

Local Marketing, PR & Community Engagement

  • Implement local marketing initiatives and provide marketing insights to the Cluster Marketing Team.
  • Act as the on‑property PR contact: host press and influencer stays, manage journalist visits, and maintain relationships with local media and creators.
  • Identify long‑term opportunities with Rome‑based influencers, cultural partners, and community groups to strengthen the hotel's positioning.
  • Distribute PR materials and ensure consistent brand representation in the local market.

Events, Programming & Guest Experience Activation

  • Co‑manage on‑property event production, ensuring seamless execution of cluster‑led and property‑specific programming.
  • Support the creation and rollout of the annual events roadmap aligned with the brand narrative.
  • Participate in briefings and BEO meetings, contributing ideas that enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Ensure strong operational alignment across teams.

Social Media, Digital & Content Creation

  • Support community management for property accounts, engaging with followers and real‑time conversations.
  • Recommend local digital trends; assist with digital advertising and email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Cluster Brand Content Executive to produce assets reflecting the hotel and cluster identity.
  • Co‑manage small/medium content shoots and ensure timely delivery for campaigns and PR.
  • Explore new storytelling formats that highlight Rome and the property.

Internal Communications & Cross‑Department Alignment

  • Create internal communication materials aligned with Six Senses brand values.
  • Work closely with departments to streamline communication and support internal initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent alignment across internal messaging, guest communications, and marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing, PR & Comms, or Digital roles in luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong creative writing and storytelling skills with a refined visual eye.
  • Experience working with creative teams or agencies on content shoots or campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content planning tools and asset management.
  • Native‑level fluency in English & Italian; Spanish is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and culturally sensitive.
  • EU work permit.
