SW Test Engineer - Automotive

Responsibilities

• Development and testing of transmission-related functions for automatic transmissions.
• Discussing the software functions with the function developers as part of test planning.
• Creation of test specifications.
• Automation of test sequences on HIL systems and maintenance of test cases.
• Execution of software tests on HIL systems including the documentation of the test results.
• Analysis and validation of test results in cooperation with the departments.
• Participation in test drives.
• Dealing with problem management including troubleshooting and updating error databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master's degree in engineering, physics or comparable science (electronics, vehicle technology, mechatronics, computer science).
• Nice to have professional experience in transmission and vehicle technology.
• Good tools knowledge (INCA, Vector CANalyzer, IBM DOORS, Jira) and experience in dealing with dSpace HILs are beneficial.
• Nice to have ISTQB and ASPICE.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• B driving license.
