Position Overview

Sky Italia is looking for an iOS Software Engineer to join our team in the IT Digital Channels Platform area. The iOS Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Digital Products to fulfill all the business needs, with continuous support from our Software Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the architectural definition and its implementation, understanding requirements and issues, and translating them into software solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain software programs that make up Sky Italia's Digital Product landscape.
• Collaborate with a global team to ensure continuous improvement of software quality.
• Interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical stories.

Core competencies and qualifications

• Good problem-solving skill, creative and proactive.
• Good software engineering skills and experience with Swift programming language.
• Experience with iOS lifecycle.
• Experience in unit and integration tests frameworks.
• Experience in developing real world, scalable and performant iOS Applications.
• Good awareness of best modern practices on software development lifecycle (git, code review, CI / CD, pipeline).
• Ability to adapt to changing contexts.
• Experience with Design System.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
