Job Description

Technical Proposals Lead

Essential Functions

Managing and coordinating the Proposal Team and Proposal development across all Business Area Functions involved complying to the proposal development processes. Review statement of work and proposal work created by the proposal group verifying coherence of estimates created by the proposal group with the proposed statement of work. Provide technical support to the Business Development team.

Proposal Lead – Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the BD team to confirm understanding of customer needs and capture strategy while keeping coherence of estimates created by the proposal group including Engineering and Product Costing with the proposed statement of work.
  • Coordinate with the BD team to ensure the technical solution supports the win strategy and customer value proposition.
  • Coordinate, plan and monitor activities of the functions involved in the BD process across the BA.
  • Schedule and conduct all necessary Gate Reviews and Progress meetings from Proposal Kick‑off to Proposal Cost Review to validate requirements and obtain input.
  • Communicate regularly with the BD team on proposal development status and potential changes in pricing strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Keep the BD team informed of all scope or cost changes to maintain alignment with the customer offer.
  • Validate with the BD team that the proposal reflects the agreed capture strategy, win themes, and compliance requirements.
