Openjobmetis Spa – Supply Chain & Product Cost Expert (Defense Sector)

The role will be performed for a defense sector client. Under Lean Manufacturing, the candidate will manage supply chain, product cost analysis, and optimization of production processes, including international supplier management and cost reduction strategies using design‑to‑cost and should cost approaches.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and estimate product costs (Should Cost, Cost Breakdown, Design‑to‑Cost).
• Manage global supply chain and suppliers.
• Project management and development of new products (NPI).
• Analyze data and provide decision support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, cost analysis and process optimization in a manufacturing industrial setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English (international client interaction).
• 3D CAD knowledge: NX.
• Mandatory cost analysis knowledge; proficiency in aPriori software is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with technical, economic and management departments.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Proactive supplier interfacing skills.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Location

Remote working from Torino, Milano, Napoli, or Roma.
