Job Description Summary

The BD Rowa Implementation Engineer is a newly created and key position within the BD Rowa Professional Service business. This position is responsible for implementation and service of BD Rowa systems. This position will independently provide efficient and effective services for BD Rowa customers in a timely manner, including but not limited to set up configuration, commissioning, customer training, troubleshooting, qualification and customer mentoring.

About the Role

The BD Rowa Implementation Engineer is a newly created and key position within the BD Rowa Professional Service business. This position is responsible for implementation and service of BD Rowa systems. This position will independently provide efficient and effective services for BD Rowa customers in a timely manner, including but not limited to set up configuration, commissioning, customer training, troubleshooting, qualification and customer mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Offering advanced problem resolution, troubleshooting and system consulting as required by the customer.
  • Upgrade BD Rowa software and hardware.
  • Lead and drive machine performance improvement through proactive monitoring and the use of documented standards.
  • Become a trusted advisor to assigned customers to build long-term business relationships.
  • Understand and partner with customers about Rowa technologies and their impact to optimize customer workflow.
  • Customize and deliver customer training.
  • Adaptation and elaboration of technical documentation.
  • Mentor Service Technicians.
  • Learning new software updates/features and distributing them to team members.
  • Share written documentation with appropriate team members and customers.
  • Follow documented practices for reporting product issues and improvements.

About You

  • Successfully completed professional training as technician or system administrator, ideally experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in field service
  • Good knowledge in handling PLC and CAN-bus systems
  • Experience with MS Office Suite products
  • Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge and experience of network and IT infrastructures in a Windows operating system environment
  • Proven analytical thinking and knowledge in the areas of software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Adherence to delivery dates and high-quality standards
  • Initiative, independence, loyalty and team spirit
  • Knowledge of English language is an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
