This acquisition allows us to enhance our range of electric heaters used in various industries around the world. The office in Cusago is growing, and with that we are looking to hire new talent.

The Role :

We are looking for an Estimator to join our FATI team in Italy (Cusago, Milano). This position is about communicating with customers and coordinating their wishes across our various departments to technically support our sales department.

In this position you are responsible for creating estimations, quotations and cost calculations for agents, customers, and prospects in consultation with the responsible Sales Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include :

  • Provide technical and conceptual support to the Sales organization to convert enquiries into sales by creating cost estimations, competitive proposals, and revisions according to customer needs and requests.
  • Perform technical clarifications and discuss effectively, follow up and follow through proposals for our sales channels (e.g. agents, distributors and resellers) as well as direct customers.
  • Answer technical inquiries by customers and solve problems by collaborating with our customers to find innovative solutions that ensure success.
  • Be the technical back-office support for our outside sales teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate intensively with our area sales offices.
  • Provide technical support during customer visits or meetings with direct outside sales staff and / or management.
  • Maintain files and accurately document all data.

Your Skills :

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical-commercial skills
  • Structured and well-organized planning approach
  • Has strong written & oral communication and negotiation skills in both English and Italian
  • Has experience with and knowledge of technical matters of process heating
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office and ERP system.
  • Experience in B2B within technical markets and industries will be an asset.
  • Has a higher vocational working and thinking level; preferably with a technical background in electrical, mechanical or process engineering.
