Tax analyst, EU Consumer Tax, Tax Emea Consumer

Amazon EU seeks a Tax Analyst to support its European business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to Tax Country Managers.
  • Act as a business partner to ensure activities are consistent with the group’s European legal and operational structure.
  • Analyze the application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate findings to both tax and non-tax stakeholders.
  • Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks.
  • Monitor developments in tax legislation across different jurisdictions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
  • A minimum of 5 years of international income tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, or multinational corporation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of working with European tax laws.
