Responsibilities

  • Face‑to‑face engagement (on‑site support) with customers to provide technical support.
  • Assist on or lead Proof of Concept (POC), demonstrations, presentations, technical exchanges, tracking and fixing technical issues, and training partner and customer.
  • Provide technical support by phone, email, and other remote methods.
  • Provide training to internal and external end users/partners.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in IT industry as a technical engineer.
  • Solid knowledge of network best practices, TCP/IP, common protocols, applications, routing, and the OSI model.
  • Knowledge of firewall, UTM, Network Security technologies or Wireless technologies and familiarity with mainstream network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Bluecoat, Riverbed, Aruba, Ruckus).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; solid understanding of troubleshooting technical issues involving network products.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are desired.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Required language(s): English. Location: Lombardy, Italy.
