Java Developer (P.iva) (full remote)

We are seeking a Software Developer for an Application Maintenance project in collaboration with a leading Software Integrator. The resource will be involved in maintenance, optimization, and support activities for existing software solutions, working with container, relational database, and cloud service technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and bug fixing on production applications.
• Analyze logs to identify and resolve anomalies promptly.
• Configure and manage container environments (OpenShift) for application deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot components for new features or improvements.
• Manage Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
• Integrate and use AWS S3 services for file and data storage.
• Use and configure RabbitMQ for message management and exchange between applications.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in software development or application maintenance.

Technical Skills:

• Intermediate experience with container environment OpenShift (or similar technologies).
• Advanced log analysis skills.
• Basic knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle DB.
• Basic knowledge of AWS S3 and RabbitMQ.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving and autonomous decision-making capabilities.
• Results-oriented and effective priority management.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.

Other Information:

Project Start: February 2025, with an expected duration of at least one year (until February 2026).

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 – 18:00 (no on-call shifts planned).

Training and Support: One month of support with the current provider.

Contract Type: Partita IVA (Italian VAT registration).
