Responsibilities

Data & Intelligence Business Line at NTT DATA is seeking a Lead Data Architect AWS.

Your role as a Lead Data Architect AWS will include:

  • Managing key client relationships
  • Managing relationships with AWS
  • Leading the AWS Center of Excellence
  • Leading Data & Analytics AWS projects
  • Supporting recruitment efforts
  • Supporting value proposition development
  • Supporting the development of skills and capabilities, such as:
  • Designing data platforms on AWS data stores like Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3
  • Designing operations architecture and conducting performance engineering for large-scale data lakes in production environments
  • Applying the Well-Architected Framework to solution design and implementation
  • Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architectures by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on AWS using native services (e.g., GLUE, Lambda) or data management technologies (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
  • Participating in client design workshops and providing trade-offs and recommendations for building solutions
  • Mentoring other engineers in coding best practices and problem-solving

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data analytics, preferably from consulting firms
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level
  • Experience working in an AWS cloud-native environment
  • Knowledge of Big Data architectures, both cloud and on-premise
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and networking
  • Experience with AWS services such as Kinesis, Kafka, Database Migration Service
  • Experience with AWS storage services like S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB
  • Experience with AWS compute services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
  • Experience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud
  • Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Kanban
  • Strong skills in data manipulation and BI tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with top management
  • Proactive, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
