CDP Equity is looking for a student to join the “Investimenti e Gestione Partecipazioni” structure, specifically the “Infrastrutture e Telecomunicazioni” team, supporting investment and portfolio company management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor periodical performance of portfolio companies’ operations, highlighting criticalities and opportunities.
- Support internal stakeholders—including CDP/Equity board members—in budget/business‑plan analysis and documentation for board and committee meetings.
- Prepare data and analysis for periodic meetings with the management of portfolio companies.
- Analyze sectors and market segments to identify new investment opportunities.
- Support investment evaluation through business plans, financial and commercial analysis.
- Assist the team in due‑diligence processes and risk/opportunity assessment.
- Help prepare negotiation meetings with counterparties.
- Coordinate with consultants/advisors.
- Prepare documentation for internal committees and board meetings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related field.
- Preferably a previous internship in the finance sector, consulting, banking, or investment funds.
- Excellent knowledge of English, Office Suite, and preferably Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or Factset.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relational skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability to diverse tasks and priorities.
- Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Team‑working attitude.
