Principal Cost Estimator

AspenTech is seeking a Principal Cost Estimator to assist our account managers in growing our business and supporting sales of the Economic Evaluation and Cost Estimation solutions, focusing on E&C (Engineering & Construction), Chemical, and Energy (Oil & Gas or Refining) customers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Understanding prospective clients' critical business issues and demonstrating AspenTech’s software capabilities as optimal solutions.
2. Identifying solutions to enhance customer profitability and capital project outcomes based on technical and industry knowledge.
3. Presenting management-level solution overviews and analyzing business benefit cases.
4. Managing awareness campaigns and supporting software evaluations.
5. Assisting the sales team with strategic planning to build the sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in E&C, Energy, or Chemical industries.
• Cost Estimation experience, preferably with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to manage discussions across technical and managerial levels.
