Responsibilities

• This position reports to Global Procurement Manager
• Your responsibilities
• Manage / negotiate favorable terms on cost elements, quality, lead time, delivery methods, engineering services, and others.
• Critical understanding and tracking of market trend (lead-time changes, obsolescence). Secure marketing funds and driving results as well as understanding of components types Active verses Passive type, and single sourced.
• Identify equivalent components of various types and submit requests for deviation to product engineering with specific data to support the recommendation.
• Manage / establish sourcing strategies within a cross functional team. Manage major technology brands like STM, TI, ADI, NXP, OnSemi, and several others.
• Communicate openly in all directions (vertical & horizontal) and negotiate yearly contracts for components.
• Enter and maintain Vendor Cross reference files (includes verifying technical descriptions with engineering drawings) for all components.

Your background

• Degree in Electronic engineering with about 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with electronic components.
• Management and negotiation skills as well as ability to collaborate with suppliers.
• Business English level, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent managerial skills.
