Overview

Seasonal Lead Fulfillment Associates support operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Roles include Trainer, Process Assistant and Shipping Clerk. All role types involve performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Seasonal Lead Fulfillment Associates communicate instructions, motivate team members, and maintain safe work areas.

What it’s like working in an Amazon Fulfillment Center

Key job responsibilities

Support daily department management, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers. Escalate barriers to Operations leaders. Drive and execute standard work in Safety, Quality, and Productivity to meet daily operational goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others or one Peak as a Seasonal Tier 3
  • 1+ year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
  • Minimum 10 hours of UPT
