As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company, highlighting our brand and image while building our reputation as a customer-focused organization. You will assist customers, help them recognize the benefits of our products and services, and articulate our purpose professionally and insightfully. Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
  • Engage proactively with customers, ask questions, and listen to their needs.
  • Guide customers to merchandise, inform about upcoming events, promotions, and offers.
  • Build respectful relationships, take accountability for actions and outcomes.
  • Organization
  • Maintain store appearance.
  • Cross-sell products and understand store layout.
  • Recommend trends and promotions based on customer needs.
  • Upsell products.
  • Learn product features, stay updated on trends, and use company tools confidently.
  • Process transactions using Point-of-Sale systems, including cash handling, discounts, gift cards, credit / debit cards, and cash reconciliation.
  • Inventory Management
  • Manage merchandise, perform inventory processes, ensure proper check-in and accurate ticketing, and participate in inventories.
  • Adhere to work schedules, follow through on assignments, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Basic product knowledge.
  • Retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including reading, writing, and interpreting instructions.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and take initiative.

Physical and Work Environment

Requires constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, standing for extended periods, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or ladder climbing. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. and work indoors or outdoors as needed.

Work Hours

Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position is open to U.S. citizens who are Active Duty Members or family members of U.S. Military or Civilian personnel in Naples, Italy. Applicants must submit the required documents listed, including passports, permits, military IDs, and other relevant paperwork, to the Navy Exchange HR Office in Gricignano. No prior experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
