Account Manager

About the Company

Our client is a leading Chinese telecommunications equipment and solutions provider and has evolved into a global player in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. The company specializes in end-to-end ICT solutions, encompassing optical fiber and cable manufacturing, optical components, wireless communications, and network systems. It serves a diverse clientele, including telecom operators, enterprises, and government institutions.

Location & Work Model

This is a remote position to be based in Italy. Please note that we will only be able to consider candidates with valid working rights in Italy.

About the role

You will be joining a team of around 60 people in Europe. Our client is already well established in countries such as Germany, Greece or Spain but Italy is a new market for them.

Reporting directly to the CEO of Eurooe, you will be the 1st person in Italy and develop our client’s footprint and activities across the country, focusing on telecom operators of major players in Italy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Development and Maintenance

  • Identify potential customers and establish contact.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat purchases.
  • Achieving Sales Targets
  • Meet the sales targets set by the company.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Product Promotion

  • Introduce company products or services to customers, highlighting their advantages and features.
  • Provide customized solutions based on customer needs.

Market Research

  • Gather market information and analyze competitors and industry trends.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market dynamics to assist the company in adjusting strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation and Signing
  • Negotiate contract terms with customers to ensure mutual agreement.
  • Sign contracts and follow up on execution.

After-Sales Service

  • Resolve customer issues to ensure high-quality after-sales service.
  • Handle customer complaints and enhance satisfaction.

Team Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, product, and technical support teams to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in team meetings to share experiences and market insights.
  • Training and Learning
  • Attend company training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar fields
  • 4+ years of experience in the telco sector in Italy
  • Experience with passive (ideally) or active components for the telco sector
  • Good understanding of the procurement or network planning processes in telco companies
  • Fluent Italian & English
  • Availability for business travel across Italy
