Analyst – Corporate Finance M&A (Telecom, Media & Tech)

Our TMT team has executed over 15 transactions in the last two years, advising leading corporations and top-tier financial sponsors on deals worth over €25 billions, while maintaining a robust pipeline of live projects. We are now looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Telecom, Media & Tech team in Milan, supporting both origination and execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions (sell-side, buy-side, carve-out, LBO) in the TMT sector
• Assist in developing integrated financial models, valuations and market analyses
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials for both origination and execution
• Conduct industry and company research and draft company profiles
• Participate in internal discussions, client meetings and dedicated training sessions
• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting (exposure to TMT is a plus, not a requirement)
• Relevant M&A experience with understanding of M&A transactions and processes
• Basic knowledge of financial modelling (including 3-statement model and business planning)
• Solid understanding and ability to model main valuation methodologies (FCFe, DCF and Comparables)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational skills and strong team spirit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering from a top-tier university
