About the role
We are seeking a Customer Marketing Specialist for the Direct Pharmacy channel to develop new commercial opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of channel trade strategies and execution of canvassing activities.
- Collaborate on channel-specific growth plans based on shopper, retailer, and market insights related to different brands.
- Understand shoppers’ and customers’ needs to increase sell-out performance.
- Work with Sales and Sellout field forces to ensure excellent execution and deployment of strategies at the point of sale.
- Manage relationships with external partners and agencies (merchandising, in-store activities, etc.).
- Monitor Channel performance and KPIs.
- Track the execution of commercial strategies, leverage good performance, and suggest corrective actions if needed.
- Analyze competitors’ plans and strategies using market data.
- Enhance brand presence and campaign execution across trade channels through in-store planning, execution, and tracking aligned with marketing priorities.
- Monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage stakeholders across marketing, sales, supply chain, and customer service functions.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmacy trade marketing roles.
- Experience working in the Direct Pharmacy channel.
- Knowledge of core business drivers such as assortment, stock, layout, pricing, and promotion.
- Proficiency in Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with numerical data.
- Ability to create dashboards and databases to monitor performance.
- Effective communication skills, including listening, explaining, training, and coaching; enthusiastic and creative with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of Category Management guidelines.
- Good financial acumen to present business benefits.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of qualitative research techniques.
- Ability to tell compelling stories to illustrate vision and benefits.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle data effectively.
- Well-organized and disciplined.
Preferred
- Over 3 years of experience working with pharmacies or in commercial functions.
- Sales and/or trade marketing experience in the Direct Pharmacy channel.
- Enjoys interacting with customers and learning from diverse interactions.
