Responsibilities

• Integrate with the IoT Software Team and support development of IoT software functionalities
• Support problem-solving and implementation independently and proactively
• Develop, debug, and specify IoT software

Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency in C language, embedded development on microcontrollers without OS, handling peripherals, memory, and communication protocols
• Experience with real-time OS (e.g., freeRTOS, ESP32)
• Hardware debugging skills, including schematic analysis and use of testing equipment
• Knowledge of security protocols (TLS, SSL, PKI, X509)
• Experience with IoT wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, Cellular)
• Familiarity with OTA updates, communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Watson)
• Proficiency in high-level languages (C#, Python) for testing tools
• Embedded IDE experience (Espressif, ST, Microchip)
• Ability to write scalable, modular code and debug using emulators or logs
• Basic networking knowledge (BLE, HTTPS, MQTT)

Qualifications

• Education: Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience: 4-5 years in R&D, embedded SW, and IoT development
• Languages: Italian and English (Good proficiency)
