The role – your passion
As Regional Fleet Condition Lead, you will orchestrate all repair planning and scheduling activities across the market. You will work closely with Regional Technicians, Damage Control Managers, Station Managers, Fleet Management, and Revenue teams. You will report to the Setup Lead Fleet Condition Management and collaborate with the Maintenance and Repair Market Lead.
You will mentor Regional Fleet Condition Managers and indirectly guide Station Fleet Condition Managers, ensuring the fleet is ready to hit the road – efficient, safe, and available.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance and repair scheduling across the market, aligned with budget, station capacity, and vehicle availability targets.
- Collaborate with Regional Technicians and Damage Control Managers to execute the repair strategy through internal and external maintenance events.
- Interface with Fleet Management and Revenue teams regarding vehicle transfers, manufacturer recalls, and availability goals.
- Monitor and continuously improve station‑level fleet condition processes; step in as Station Fleet Condition Manager during peak periods and deliver training.
- Track vendor performance and align corrective actions with Station Managers, Damage Control Managers, and the Maintenance and Repair Market Lead.
- Ensure station readiness and capability to meet repair and turnaround targets.
- Prepare, launch, and oversee key scheduling initiatives such as manufacturer recalls, technical inspection rallies, winterization, off‑season repairs, and pre‑season maintenance.
- Provide structured feedback and support to the Head of Market and Maintenance and Repair Market Lead to help achieve market key performance indicators.
- Support the Setup Lead Fleet Condition Management in optimizing and automating fleet condition processes across all stations.
What you need to surf the wave with us
- Degree or apprenticeship in engineering, automotive technology, or a similar technical field – or substantial work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in operational project management or scheduling environments.
- 3+ years of indirect people management experience, ideally in a technical and operational setting.
- Skilled in managing internal and external stakeholders; vendor performance management experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, scheduling, and budgeting skills focused on efficiency and quality.
- Confident communicator and leader with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment; travel to internal stations and external vendors is required.
