Junior Auditor

On behalf of our client, a successful auditing firm based in Nicosia, we are looking for a Junior Auditor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will at least be an entry-level ACCA member and have a relevant university degree. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with clients to obtain information needed for the audit and for the Company’s KYC procedures.
• Compile client’s audit files (CAF & PAF).
• Participate in the planning of the audit work.
• Assist in the preparation of all documents required for the audit: engagement letters, bank letters, company documentation, and other confirmation letters as audit evidence.
• Perform audit work and tests in accordance with the audit plan.
• Conduct fieldwork testing of internal controls.
• Identify and document audit issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Report to Auditors, Senior Auditors, and Audit Managers.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to learn new software quickly (Caseware Working Papers and WiseBos – AML & Time Sheets).
• Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Pleasant personality with a “can do” attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Highly motivated individual.
• High School Diploma and/or University degree.
• ACCA member, entry level.
• No work experience required; any previous experience will be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy.
• Very good command of Greek and English languages.
• Office position.
• Occasional inland travel to clients’ premises.
