Soundsafe Care is an Italian startup company that is disrupting conventional ways to perform surgery. Our flagship technology is a proprietary device for non-invasive tissue ablation thanks to ultrasound waves and robotic guidance.

Now, we are entering the veterinary market with our first product — and we’re looking for the right person to help us win our first customers.

🔎 What we are looking for

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager with strong experience and an established network in the veterinary sector. In this role, you will drive the acquisition of our first clients and build the commercial foundation for our market entry.

You will work closely with veterinarians, clinics, and partners to position our technology, create trust in the market, and define the most effective go-to-market strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales engine of a MedTech startup at the very beginning of its commercialization journey.

On a daily basis

  • Lead customer acquisition: identify and approach veterinary clinics, hospitals, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the veterinary field.
  • Implement targeted sales and marketing actions:
  • a) Build brand awareness
  • b) Generate and qualify leads
  • c) Manage accounts and relationships with early clients
  • d) Drive client success and retention

On a weekly basis

  • Meet with potential veterinary partners and clients to promote our solution.
  • Expand and nurture a network of early adopters in the veterinary market.
  • Align with internal teams to refine positioning and communication strategies.

On a monthly basis

  • Work closely with veterinary partners to gather feedback and refine the product‑market fit.
  • Define sales KPIs, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic collaborations and partnerships.
  • Represent Soundsafe Care at industry conferences, trade shows, and veterinary events.
  • Contribute to a thought leadership strategy in the veterinary innovation space.

🎓 Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 3–5 years of sales/marketing experience in the veterinary industry (medical devices, animal health, diagnostics, or related).
  • Strong professional network with veterinary clinics, hospitals, or distributors.
  • Experience in startups or early‑stage commercialization is a plus.

Skills

  • Proven track record in sales acquisition and client management.
  • Solid understanding of sales methodologies, negotiation, and marketing strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results‑oriented, and customer‑focused.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian (both written and oral). Other European languages (French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
