About the role:

As an experienced Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Corporate accounts through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring posting accuracy, and supporting statutory audits. Your work will contribute to accurate month-end closing and financial reporting for key stakeholders.

You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA GAC.

This is a Hybrid position, with access to our offices in Monfalcone, Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL journal bookings and review month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP, and company policies in all journal activities.
• Post all required month-end close entries.
• Support and analyze discrepancies in the Trial Balance.
• Conduct reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies during reconciliation processes.
• Obtain and verify balance confirmations, resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Collaborate with teams to correct identified issues.
• Assist in audits and financial statement preparations.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years in accounting or finance.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Italian CA certification or equivalent.
• Expert in Excel.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with SAP, Quasar X systems.
