Front-End Software Engineer
The Front‑End Software Engineer is an expert in designing, implementing, and testing the front‑end software solutions for Ground Segment systems oriented to cloud native applications.
We require at least 3 years of hands‑on experience designing and coding enterprise web applications, adopting multi‑device, multi‑platform development based on a micro‑services architecture paradigm and using Angular technology. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and should be familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology.
Activities
- Design, develop, and unit‑test software solutions on ever‑changing modern technology in public/hybrid cloud environments.
- Contribute to technical project documentation (Requirements Documents, Operations Concept Document, Operations Engineering Plan, User and Administration Manual, Test Procedures, etc.).
- Assist in project reviews when required.
- Apply software design principles.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python.
- Basic knowledge of back‑end techniques including SpringBoot, API Gateway, Message Queue (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of security coding standards (OWASP, CWE/SANS).
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS concepts.
- Knowledge of container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Knowledge of Linux scripting.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace or Information Engineering.
- High‑level written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards metrics for software coding.
Further Skills
- Proven knowledge of software security mechanisms (encryption, signature).
- Basic knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and non‑relational databases (MongoDB, Elastic).
- Experience in multiple technology stack application development.
- Experience with cloud environments.
