About the Role
We are hiring Sales Specialists for several business units:
- Cyber security
- Hybrid Cloud/VMware
- HR Cloud Solutions/Factorial (Temporary Contract)
- Lenovo PC (Temporary Contract)
The Sales Specialist is experienced in generating new business opportunities through outbound calls, engaging in product conversations, and achieving monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Engage in active inside selling using a variety of sources to gain customer insights.
- Manage customer backorder and perform intelligent project fishing.
- Handle projects end‑to‑end or hand over to pre‑sales for technical requirements.
- Provide, sell, and negotiate product pricing, offers, and promotions.
- Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers.
- Achieve key performance indicators such as customer engagement.
- Develop partner relationships (account planning, cross‑selling, etc.).
- Identify project opportunities and collaborate with BDMs for specific product/vendor knowledge.
- Drive sales of specific products/vendors that require expertise.
- Provide accurate and timely quotations across various segments.
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of deals in the CRM system, reviewing and updating it regularly to ensure active closure of opportunities.
- Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- 2‑3 years of sales experience.
- Numerate with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
- Priority management and planning abilities.
- Motivation to achieve set targets.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Prior experience with IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM (ideal).
- IT industry knowledge desirable but not essential.
