Job Description

You will develop and maintain efficient CI / CD pipelines, sophisticated configuration management, and automated workflows to support the development of embedded cryptographic software, while ensuring audit‑proof documentation and collaborating closely with developers, QA, and compliance experts.

In your new role you will :

  • Provide the toolchains and development environment for the development of embedded cryptographic software
  • Develop a sophisticated configuration management to support multiple products and tools chains
  • Build and maintain efficient, scalable and stable CI / CD pipelines
  • Be responsible for a highly automated CI / CD flow according to requirements and standards
  • Take responsibility for audit‑proof documentation of the work results and presentation of these in audits and reviews
  • Work in a distributed and highly collaborative team and closely with software developers, QA and compliance experts

Your Profile

You are a driven and reliable professional with strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, meet deadlines with a targeted and structured approach, and are willing to go the extra mile with the team to ensure project success. Excellent communication skills are key, as this role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality results.

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree with enhanced professional experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps practices, including CI / CD and configuration management, best with background of embedded systems
  • Good knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Bash scripting or also CMake
  • Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Artifactory, Conan
  • Experience in working with git‑based version control systems
  • Familiarity with embedded systems concepts and toolchains (e.g. compilers, simulation and emulation tools)
  • Experience in ISO26262 & ISO21434 (Cybersecurity)
  • Fluency in English, German is an advantage
