Full-Stack Engineer - Florence, Tuscany, Italy

Avanade, a Microsoft partner, looks for a highly motivated Full‑Stack Engineer with strong multithreading experience to join an engineering team that builds high‑impact, enterprise‑grade applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and services in .NET, ASP.NET MVC 5 and C#.
• Implement frontend components using React.js, Angular 11 or Vue.js, and apply HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/TypeScript best practices.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services and socket‑based services.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend and operations teams to define project progress, address technical challenges and ensure quality.
• Apply multithreading and Task Parallel Library (TPL) patterns to build highly concurrent, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications on the .NET stack.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC 5, C#, and SQL Server.
• Solid experience with modern front‑end frameworks (React.js, Angular 11, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a consulting or system‑integrator environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Willingness to acquire additional certifications and technical skills.
• Availability for national travel, if required.
