Job title: Business Developer - Freelancer
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Italy)
Type of contract: Freelance (with VAT number)
Language: Italian (native speaker required)
Duration: 12 months
Terms: 1.000€ fixed + variable bonus (capped at 5K / month)
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities within the travel and tourism sector, focusing on affiliation, corporate retreats and communities partnerships.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, LinkedIn networking, events, and other channels.
- Represent WeRoad in calls and meetings with potential business clients, communicating the value of our product offering clearly and persuasively.
- Keep CRM tools updated and provide regular reporting on activity, KPIs, and opportunities.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and iterate based on the evolution of business priorities.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
- Strong background in the travel industry, with at least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or outbound business development.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
- Impeccable communication and negotiation skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Results-oriented and self-starter attitude: you are hungry for growth and success.
- Exceptional reliability, team spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills: you're comfortable managing different projects and leads simultaneously.
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability—you’re comfortable with change and uncertainty.
