This is an important role where you will drive sales activities across our Oil and Gas end market working with instrumentation for a market leading product which is well respected in the field. You will take ownership of critical accounts, and you will be the focal point for the success of sales within these.

Reporting to the Sector Manager (O&G) and will work as part of a tightly knit team together with Sales Manager of W&P and CPI and look after Italy customers and Sales Engineer team.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the proper follow-up of the opportunities by liaising with the key stakeholders like end users, consultants, EPCS, VOEMs. You will also need to ensure the best customer service to all customers and ultimately, you will have to be capable of influencing key decision makers to increase the winning chance for Rotork.

The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate in a matrix organization, have a proactive approach to dynamic issues and overall be a good team player.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales of instrumentation products mainly covering O&G end market
  • Strong existing business relations with customers in target industriesat asenior management level
  • Familiar with techniques required to co-ordinate sale products and services on capitalprojects as well as to resellers and end-users
  • Strong experience in sales management covering instrumentation within the valves and actuators market
  • Experience in North Italy oil and gas market / Applications. Market knowledge in W&P and CPI will be added advantage.
  • Market knowledge with experience and/or key relationship to generate business opportunities

The Successful Candidate:

  • Exhibit tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers
  • Delivering quality, relationship building sales efforts with the aim to build loyalty with customers resulting in increased revenue and company profitability
  • Identify, create and execute high level marketing and business development activities to bestposition Rotork products and services
  • Mapping of accounts to determine the core of the buying decision and working with allies and associates to ensure that the Rotork message is delivered in line with company objectives
  • Strong business relationship with key decision makers.
  • Full Valid Driving License
