• Logistics Specialist
• for our location in Cavriago.

As Logistics Specialist you and your team of 1 will be responsible for all transport flow in the location in Cavriago. You will act as a primary point of contact for the business.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be :

• LOGISTIC SPECIALIST will take the operational lead in the logistic activities for the Cavriago location.
• Manage the Supply Chain :
• Order intake & verification of specific requirements for order processing (product specs, sales & transport prices, incoterms, financial arrangements,)
• Liaison with inventory team for on-time availability of products
• Assure transport arrangements & follow up on on-time collection and deliveries
• Assure that all required documentation are prepared in time and coordinate on site pick-ups with site team (production, customer service, material planner)
• Manage brokerage and import / export shipments
• Manage the external Warehouses
• Regularly reports the KPIs towards logistics and On-time deliveries (OTIF, COST, Lead-Times)
• Define, negotiate, and assure SLA (service level agreements) with all the transport and 3PL (third part logistics), including sea / air / rail freights, external warehousing and road transport providers
• Continuously negotiate rates and routes of transportation to optimize Supply Chain COST and Lead-times
• Support and collaborate with site team on improvements for internal logistic (warehouse, storage and transport flow on site)

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent by relevant experience
• More than 4 years of experience in a logistics or customer service environment with international freights
• Team player
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Good PC skills :

• SAP / M3 experience
• Customer focused, communicative & assertive
• Accurate, well organized,
• Able to plan activities, to anticipate and to take initiatives
• Flexible in adjusting to organizational needs
