Are you a talented, self-managed sales professional looking for international experience and growth? In this role, you would be part of the Intralox Food division, reporting to the Fruit/Veg/Other Food (FVF) team as Account Manager responsible for managing customers (EU and OEMs) while working with Senior Account Managers across Italy, with extended coverage including Spain and potentially the UK. The role combines regional expertise with international account coordination, requiring strong relationship management, commercial acumen, and cross-cultural communication skills. You will be home office based in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • You manage Intralox fruit, vegetable and food (dairy, pet-food, confectionery & chocolate) in your territory
  • Understand the overall potential of the market
  • Define the annual business plan and sales forecast
  • Prospecting and lead generation
  • Implement telemarketing campaigns
  • Customer database validation
  • Reporting and CRM management
  • Maintain frequent contact with the target accounts (End-Users & OEMs)

Profile

  • Location & Language: based in Italy, fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in inside sales, telemarketing, lead generation, or sales support within the Food Industry.
  • Communication: Excellent phone communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly and naturally.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM platforms and tools such as Salesforce or Dynamics, and comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and across international teams.
  • Mindset: Proactive and customer-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the food and packaging process industry; its major players, its customs and its cultures, the technology; the production processes
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel (40%) throughout the territories and abroad.
