Position

We are looking for a Mechatronics/Electronics Technician to join our Hardware and Software Testing & Validation team in the automotive sector.

The selected candidate will perform testing, verification, and validation activities on electronic and mechatronic systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic units and mechatronic systems (ECUs, sensors, actuators, embedded systems).
  • Execute HW/SW validation activities according to defined test plans (DVP&R).
  • Prepare test benches, instrumentation, and laboratory setups (power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN/LIN tools, emulators, diagnostic tools).
  • Analyze logs, data, and test results, identifying anomalies and root causes.
  • Draft technical reports, non‑conformity analyses, and activity progress documentation.
  • Support the development team in debugging issues identified during testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality teams, and suppliers to improve product performance.
  • Ensure correct HW/SW configuration of the tested devices and alignment with technical specifications.
  • Contribute to developing and improving procedures, validation tools, and test automation processes.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in mechatronics, electronics, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive electronic and electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay.
  • Hands‑on experience with laboratory instrumentation: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters.
  • Experience with diagnostic and validation software (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, INCA; Matlab/Simulink is a plus).
  • Knowledge of key automotive standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret technical specifications.

Other information

This is a full‑time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The role requires frequent travel across Europe, accounting for approximately 75% of the working time.
