Back-end Software Engineer

With thousands of active users, we are the most popular QR code payment solution among restaurants. We simplify and enhance the customer experience and restaurant staff workflow with a QR code. Customers scan, split, tip, pay... and they are done! Waiters can focus on what they love most: pampering their customers.

What you will do

• Develop with Node.js + express / fastify, APIs, and Microservices
• Work autonomously
• Learn from others and propose ideas to improve our processes

Your profile

• 8+ years of experience
• Deep knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and functional programming
• Experience managing at least one complete, operational project in microservices with distributed databases on Google Cloud or AWS
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-changing environment
• Passion for your work and enthusiasm about your role
• Curiosity and initiative, eager to try new ideas and adventures
• Proficiency in English

• Architecture: distributed on GCP, with GKE
• Frontend: REACT with Websockets
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
• APIs: RESTful and Websocket
• Data storage: MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery for analytics

What we offer

• Full-time employment contract
• Salary: €50,000 - €80,000/year depending on experience
