Overview

METRO is an international wholesale company in the HoReCa sector, serving hotels, restaurants and catering, and independent traders. Present in Italy in 16 regions with about 4,000 employees and 49 points of sale. We are looking for a passionate professional to join the Brunico point of sale as a Specialist to reinforce our departments.

As a Specialist, this is more than a job—it is an ongoing formative experience that ensures correct management of the department in commercial, administrative and customer service terms through an optimal shopping experience within the store.

The Resource, Specifically, Will Cover:

Responsibilities

• Create an effective relationship with the customer, proposing product purchases based on their needs.
• Refill counters and position merchandise; handle ordinary decoration and signage for the assigned department; support the Department Head by compiling orders, participating in stock variation actions and handling returns.
• Update and inform customers about promotions in the point of sale; manage requests and issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Diploma
• Knowledge of METRO Italy product assortment and different client categories, their professional needs and commercial requirements.
• Knowledge of commercial KPIs and sales techniques.
• Excellent relational and communicative skills.
• Ability to work in a team and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to work in shifts and on holidays.
