Overview

Energy Dome is a company with revolutionary technology for large scale and long duration energy storage. Our proprietary technology is based on a thermodynamic process that uses CO2 to store electricity cost-effectively with unprecedented round-trip efficiencies. The simplicity of the process as well as the use of readily available off-the-shelf equipment opens the way for Energy Dome to quickly become an important player in the energy storage market. Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and we are seeking a MAINTENANCE MANAGER who will be responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance at a central level.

The role will involve the development and management of the Maintenance department within the Asset Management structure; in particular: ensuring the preparation and management of pre & post-award maintenance contracts, planning and ensuring the execution of activities and monitoring the maintenance performance of the assets through the development and analysis of maintenance engineering data, developing the CMMS system and supporting the asset management structure in the technical and financial sustainability of the plants in line with the achievement of company targets.

The ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience in maintenance management, preferably with an operational background and in the energy sector.

Main responsibilities

  • Define maintenance contract requirements and develop scope of work (pre-award)
  • Contract management (post-award)
  • Define and optimize maintenance strategy in coordination with the Engineering and Turbomachinery teams
  • Define maintenance performance KPIs and implement/support the development of a monitoring system
  • Develop procedures and define engineering maintenance processes
  • Develop and manage the CMMS system
  • Identify opportunities for technological improvement and implement innovative solutions
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and other company departments

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Solid knowledge of power generation plants, rotating machine technology, thermodynamic cycles, and regulatory aspects related to renewable energy production.
  • Skills and experience in rotating machinery management
  • Excellent team management and development skills.
  • Strong results orientation, with data analysis, budget management, and financial planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
