IT PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

Azienda Trasporti Milanesi S.p.A. (ATM) is a leader in sustainable mobility, managing Milan’s metro, tram, bus, and trolleybus networks, as well as mobility services such as bike sharing, interchanges, parking, and access services to restricted traffic zones.

Overview

We are seeking an IT PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE to join the Business Intelligence team. The team collaborates cross-functionally with all business areas to support the development of strategies and new initiatives through advanced data analytics solutions. The role focuses on end-to-end management of BI and Advanced Analytics projects, from requirements gathering to delivery of the designed solution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists) and facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Plan and monitor project activities, managing timelines, costs, resources, and risks
• Define and monitor project KPIs, producing periodic reports for management
• Supervise testing, validation, and release of analytical solutions
• Manage relationships with external suppliers

Your profile

You are a Project Manager who values stakeholder relationships and understands client needs, with strong analytical skills and good knowledge of PM tools and methodologies.

You have developed your background in data-driven contexts, familiar with data governance, data quality, and data modeling, and you understand data lifecycle processes and BI logic.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, SAS Viya)
• Experience with data query languages (SQL, DAX, MDX)
• Familiarity with modern data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, ETL/ELT) and cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS, GCP
