Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy, originating and closing new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
  • Extensive experience with CCTV and related technologies, or similar market segments, especially presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
  • Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals for system integrators and end-users.
  • Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
  • Previous experience with a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of new technologies, particularly network video systems and topology.
  • Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Motivated to impact the market positively and enhance brand recognition.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and key clients.
  • Independent thinking, good judgment, and motivation to achieve targets.
  • Team player with success in collaborative environments.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board level and diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
  • Valid driving license.

Location : This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy, with extensive travel within Italy and potential international travel depending on experience and skills.
