Category Procurement Expert for Workplace

Join to apply for the Category Procurement Expert for Workplace role at Accenture Italia. The Procurement Team works closely with internal stakeholders, including other corporate functions such as Corporate Services, Finance, Operations, Tax, Legal and business teams, to ensure seamless and effective procurement support. The Category Procurement Expert for Workplace is accountable for the delivery of all Procurement services for Italy, Greece & Israel. This includes oversight of Category to Contract Execution, Procurement Operations Ventures & Acquisitions support, and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Procurement Plus Workplace category at Market Unit/country level, coordinating with global and regional leads. Adapt to local legislative changes and support strategic planning.
  • Manage category strategy and sourcing for regional projects, including RFP creation, supplier selection, and negotiations. Collaborate with business units to optimize supplier base and implement KPIs. Supports supplier evaluation and classification, integrating market intelligence and best practices.
  • Manage team performance and support internal planning and execution. Drive category improvements and foster collaboration across the Market Unit.
  • Collaborate to manage supplier and customer relationships at regional level, aligning with global strategy. Build strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and gather feedback to improve supplier performance. Ensure stakeholder input is reflected in category strategy and sourcing processes.

Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience related to the same role acquired in a multinational company with complex organizations in the area of Workplace (Facility management services), Real Estate Projects and Fit‑outs.
  • Proven experience managing key internal or external client relationships with a strong track record of delivery satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes, including cost savings and value creation, within complex service delivery environments. Strong financial acumen and understanding of commercial models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including C‑level governance, experience working in matrixed, global organizations with shared services models.
  • Recognized leadership in people development, team building, and fostering inclusive environments.
  • Degree with emphasis on business and economics, proficiency in English both in speaking and writing.
