For our client a leading global industrial company that has been setting standards in high-voltage technology for over a century through innovation and quality we are looking for a technically skilled and highly coordinated individual to fill the position of :

Test Engineer High Voltage (HV)

As a High Voltage Test Engineer you will be responsible for performing electrical tests and quality verifications on high-voltage cables accessories and related components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and type tests on HV cables joints and terminations up to 500 kV according to IEC and customer standards.
  • Conduct insulation resistance partial discharge AC / DC withstand and tan δ (loss factor) tests.
  • Prepare and document detailed test reports and ensure traceability of all results.
  • Operate and maintain high-voltage test equipment and measurement systems.
  • Support R&D and production teams with prototype testing and technical investigations.
  • Analyze test data identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure all tests comply with internal safety procedures and laboratory regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and test system upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Proven experience in high-voltage testing (factory or field testing) of cables transformers or switchgear.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical measurement principles and HV safety standards (IEC IEEE etc.).
  • Familiarity with HV test systems such as resonant test sets impulse generators and PD detectors.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
