The Role

Join our fintech company as a backend developer in our product development team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable backend systems, ensuring quality, security, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to evolve our platform for a growing user base and complex financial operations. We seek someone experienced in writing clean, efficient, maintainable code, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical backend systems and make a meaningful impact in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

1. Write, test, and maintain code for high-performance and scalable systems.
2. Improve system performance to handle high volumes of requests.
3. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and meet industry standards.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations.
5. Work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements.
6. Resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges promptly.
7. Integrate payment systems, product platform, and external systems.
8. Participate in all stages of agile development, including planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
9. Identify opportunities to improve development processes.
10. Create and maintain technical documentation.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with relevant experience
• Proficiency in Java programming
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Understanding of software security principles
• Experience with high-performance, secure applications
• Agile experience, including CI/CD, Git, and automated testing
• Experience handling large volumes of transactions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and team collaboration
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience with distributed systems, Docker, and Kubernetes
