Job Opening: CTO - Chief Technology Officer

AIEM SRL, a leading EPC General Contractor in the renewable energy sector and part of a major global private equity fund, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technical operations for utility-scale photovoltaic plants.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the CTO will oversee the technical management of renewable energy projects, from design through construction and commissioning. The role involves coordinating internal teams, managing technical projects, liaising with clients, and coordinating with external consultants and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical management of photovoltaic utility-scale plants.
2. Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning phases.
3. Manage technical projects and supervise execution plans for medium and high voltage systems.
4. Coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and local distribution companies.
5. Support sales activities and assist Project Managers during project initiation.
6. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and technical documentation management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Energy, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in utility-scale photovoltaic projects, preferably as CTO or Project Engineer in EPC contractors or development companies.
• Proficiency with sector-specific software (e.g., PVsyst, PVcase), GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of main suppliers, electrical regulations, safety standards, and pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites and participate in FATs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team skills.
